Part of the Holiday World theme park, Splashin' Safari offers guests a place to cool down during hot summer days. Admission to the water park is included with general admission. Splashin' Safari offers two wave pools, eight large water slides and three water playgrounds; one for toddlers, one for children and one for families.
Water Coaster
At a third of a mile long, the
claims to be the world's longest water coaster. Riders sit on an inflatable raft as they are pulled up to the top of the coaster on a conveyor belt. The riders slide up and down hills and around sharp banks.
Other Attractions

in 2007, a 29-year-old woman collapsed and died in the wave pool. A subsequent autopsy showed the woman died of natural causes related to congestive heart failure.

Atlantis Water Park
Located on the southern border of Indiana, the Atlantis Water Park is minutes from downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The water park offers a wide range of fun for every member of the family.
Themed Rides
Atlantis boasts
, two body slides and two tube slides that form a maze 43 feet high and four different routes to the splash pool.
is wave pool that starts with a walk-in beach and slants to a depth of five feet. Younger swimmers will enjoy playing in the crashing waves, while more experienced swimmers brave the five-foot swells.
For Little Swimmers
Atlantis offers younger visitors a safe play area called
. This water playground has sprinklers, tubes and water jets to cool little swimmers.

The park offers the Bermuda Triangle Ice Cream parlor that features ice cream, burgers and snacks.
Safety Record
According to
, a 4-year-old boy wandered from King Neptune's Cove to the wave pool. The child was under the water for more than a minute before he was rescued and taken to the hospital.
