Barbara Walters: 'You Can't Trust The Kardashians,' On Most Fascinating List

Barbara Walters put the Kardashians on her Most Fascinating People list, not her most reliable.

When the journalist appeared on "The Late Show" on Tuesday night, host David Letterman inquired quite heavily about the inclusion of the reality stars on the 2011 list, offering to remove them himself and asking about Kim's 72 day marriage.

"They were the first ones we interviewed and we did them in September," Walters explained. "We said, anything going to happen? 'No no no, you can do it now because nothing's going to happen.' Then Kim gets married. Then Kourtney gets pregnant. Then Khloe's moving to Dallas. You cannot trust the Kardashians."

Indeed, the sisters are always making headlines. You can't quite blame Khloe for the trip to Dallas -- that's coming thanks to her husband Lamar Odom's trade from the Lakers to the Mavericks -- but it would have been fantastic to see Walters question Kim about that short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries. The closest you'll get, at this point, is seeing Kris Humphries on "Good Morning America," which was awkward, to say the least.

Will this finally put an end to the Kardashitians? I hope so. Maybe after they see Barabara and David putting them down they'll get a clue. But I doubt it Kim will turn around and blame it on Kris H.

As long as mothers let their daughters watch this filthy group of girls there will be interest in them. It is not men or boys watching this show. They might be watching the porn that KK made w the hiphop guy, including her famous line about something on her face. But it is the little girls, the 8 - 12 year old girls that some moms are letting their girls watch, actually millions of moms. Who are they? Uneducated, mostly middle-class moms who are watching the Housewives franchise in the other room. America is filled with these moms who refuse to parent - so no, the fascination in the Kardash group is not going away any time soon.

Oh, Barbara's as old and grey as Larry and Reege and does it show. "Fascinating"? more like "Available" publicity-seeking types her staff can arrange for her to interview. Really fascinating people wouldn't have any reason to do an interview with this Barbara, like the only biological child of Woody Allen just made a Rhodes Scholar...he sounds fascinating; Ai Weiwei, the Chinese artist; Hillary Clinton...

HMMMM. GEAU SAINTS. Is this Kim? I hope so cuz that was funny as hell. I love the K's and Khloe is my fav. Kim is beautiful all around. Don't care for Kourt. She acts too stuck up. Using Mason to keep from having a relationship with the hubby is dangerous. When Mason grows up and leaves the nest, then what? Scott is fine as hell and there are quite a few women out there that would try and get at him cuz they know he is not getting any.

Unfortunately, I think more than half of those signatures WILL still watch the K.K.K Klub (kourtney, kim khloe klub & by the way Kris Jenner, if you decide to use "the K.K.K. KLUB" I'll sue you! I'm in the process of owning that name but would be willing to talk.) People just join the band wagons but continue on with their krazy habits. For the record...I'm so glad Kim divorced Kris Humphries. He's a big, unattractive, abusive goofy baby who speaks like he has some kind of learning disability. He should just be thankful that Kim made him known to the world. No one ever heard of him prior to Kim and she settled for him anyway after the italian wouldn't go out with Kim.
