Fox News Fail: Graphic Displays President Obama In GOP Hopefuls Poll (PHOTO)

First Posted: 12/14/11 04:08 PM ET Updated: 12/16/11 10:33 AM ET

Fox News' graphics team made a quick but significant error on Megyn Kelly's program on Wednesday.

At the very start of Kelly's show "America Live," a graphic appeared for roughly 20 seconds that outlined the GOP candidates' recent poll numbers. Instead of displaying an image of Mitt Romney polling at 17.2%, an image of President Obama appeared above the number, right between Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. Kelly later apologized for the error.

Whoops! (H/T TVNewser).

Yeah something tells me this was most definitely NOT a mistake by FOX. These, however, most certainly were:

All things considered, Obama does make a good moderate Republican, too bad such isn't allowed to run on the Republican ticket any more. We have centrist right Obama and the far, far right running as fast as they can further right GOP field.

The fact that the wingnuttery at large doesn't (apparently) care for facts, logic or truth in what they absorb from 'their media' then puts the onus firmly where it belongs - with those bringing the news to their viewers (there are those who spend their time making stuff up, like children do...see Cluster-Fox and their "Million Dollar Jet-Packs for Police!!!" story for the kind of wild-eyed, semi-breathless 'reporting' I'm referring to: http://media.about.com/b/2010/10/11/oops-fox-news-fooled-by-story-on-jet-packs-and-lapd.htm ). The olde saying "By their works shall ye know them" leaves many in the right-wing media, especially Cluster-Fox and their ilk, looking rather bereft in the departments of ethics, honesty...and sanity.
