'The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson': Ben Kingsley Gets Yawned At By Audience Member (VIDEO)

Ben Kingsley Yawned At By 'Late Late Show' Audience

Ben Kingsley was giving a perfectly pleasant and acceptable description of the film "Hugo," when he got completely derailed on "The Late Late Show" (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS). "I just turned to the audience," he told Craig Ferguson. "And then looked straight into a yawn."

"That happens to me all the time," Ferguson said. But while Ferguson just carries on, Kingsley had a suggestion for next time to the person. Maybe a hand over the mouth? The uncovered yawn can be very disconcerting when the person is pointing it directly at you.

As he pressed on, Ferguson realized his problem. "You need more dirty jokes," he said, and outrageous behavior. Kingsley was simply playing it to straight. No one was yawning during his "galumph" joke earlier in the segment. Perhaps Kingsley stayed so serious during talking about the film, because he admitted to crying upon watching it for the first time.
