Amar'e Stoudemire's Florida Home: Knicks Star Purchases Mansion (PHOTOS)
New York Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire is living large. The All-Star forward closed a deal for an enormous custom home in Southwest Ranches, Fla. back in October.
The 14,555-square-foot property is said to be worth $3.7 million. Located near Ft. Lauderdale, Stoudemire's posh new digs are approximately 200 miles from Lake Wales, where he grew up.

Stoudemire signed a massive deal with Knicks before the 2010-11 season, which was worth nearly $100 million over five years. Shortly after he signed, the most coveted free agent in his class, LeBron James, left Cleveland to team up with Dwyane Wade on the Miami Heat.
Not long into his first season with the Heat, the two-time NBA MVP bought a three-story home in Coconut Grove outside South Beach for $9 million.
