'Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011': Kardashians Have No Talent (VIDEO)

Barbara Walters: Kardashians 'Fascinating,' Not Talented

Whether you love them, despise them or are indifferent to them, it is indisputable that the Kardashians have become a force of nature in pop culture.

Kim Kardashian's wedding and subsequent marital collapse alone have dominated tabloids these past few months. It's no wonder the clan was featured on "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011" (Wed., 9:30PM ET on ABC).

Walters lamented earlier this week that she interviewed the Kardashians back in September, before Kim and Kris split, and before Kourtney announced that she is pregnant with her second child. Nevertheless, she didn't hesitate to ask the kinds of questions people really want to know.

"You don't really act. You don't sing. You don't dance. You don't have any -- forgive me -- any talent," Walters said to them.

Kim's response was that it's actually harder to be famous for being who you are rather than playing a character: "It's more of a challenge for you to go on a reality show and get people to fall in love with you for being you."

Despite Kim's 2007 sex tape being the impetus for their worldwide fame now, she said it was a mistake. She didn't answer Walters directly on whether or not it was a good thing, considering how things have turned out for the entire family because of it.

"You learned a lot from that," Kris Jenner said of the negative experience. With her marriage ending, it looks like Kim is learning more and more every day.
