Girl, 13, Caught With Alcohol-Laced Milk At Junior High School

Cops: Junior High Student Brought Booze-Laced Milk To School

A 13-year-old Chicago area junior high student was caught last Friday with a little something extra in her chocolate milk: Baileys Irish Cream liqueur.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the Glen Ellyn student told Hadley Junior High School staff that she had brought the spiked milk as a "joke."

Though Glen Ellyn Deputy Police Chief Bill Holmer told the Tribune it was as yet unclear whether any students drank the laced milk, the drink was reportedly "given to some other students who claimed to not know what they were given."

Further, no students at the school appeared to be intoxicated when police arrived at the school early Friday morning, the Daily Herald reports.

Police worked with the student and her parents "regarding enforcement action," according to an AP report.
