Suri Cruise Steps Out In Heels & 'Fur' (PHOTOS)

What a lovely little dame!

Suri Cruise, ever the fashion plate, hung out in Tribeca with her doting parents today in a rather glam get-up. Known for her proclivity for heels, the famous 5-year-old wore a furry brown coat (faux fur, we're guessing), ballerina pink tights and gold pointy toe heels.

Also, we have to ask: do we detect a hint of blue eyeshadow on those sleepy eyes?

Some critics may turn their nose up at wee ones in heels, but we remember dressing up in shiny, pretty clothes when we were that age... and as we recall, it's tons of fun.

So imagine how thrilling it must be for Suri, with her $150,000 shoe collection?

She can wear all the heels and fur coat she wants but it's still not going to disguise the fact that her hair is always a disheveled mess. Geez, would someone run a brush through her hair and pull it back in a barrette or a ponytail or something.

I don't know what is more disgusting: a small child wearing heels or a small child having a collection of shoes worth $150,000. I realize they are wealthy but such excess in this economy is just bad taste. Oh, that's right, we're talking about the Tom Cruise tribe....makes sense now.

Suri looks like she's tired, which is why Dad is probably carrying her. If you look at the soles of her shoes, they're well worn, so she obviously has walked quite a bit in them and worn them numerous times.

When I was a little girl, we called those type of heels kitten heels or jet heels. Even a little curve in a short heel felt like such sophistication.

This kid is going to be a total mental case when she hits her teen years. She has nothing going for her except that idiot of a "father" and blanket beaten "mom," so she'll be another one to cash in on their fame and make excuses when she turns into a druggie or drunk by 15.

Isn't she getting just a little too big to be carried around like a doll? And Ellie,stop promoting this ridiculousness.Yes as little girls we loved to get dressed up - in our Mom's clothes and shoes.It was called "dress up" for a reason. It's just crossing the line to creepy. The heels since she was able to walk will ruin her feet

Well, maybe she is being carried because she's tired and we don't know all the three had been doing, or what time of day it was. They may have been "going" for hours at whatever and these two are first time parents not even realizing perhaps that most 5 yr olds can't go all day early morning to dinner without rest, or even a nap if continuously active, Or maybe they are walking quickly to keep pace with the paparazzi to minimize their access to them, and those shoes ARE kind of ridiculous for outside extensive walking for a child, not to mention if it had to be fast walking avoiding paparazzi. I agree though they should be for "play dressup" for a 5 yr old. Part of a mother's job is to teach a child reasonable/appropriate dress (creativity not withstanding).
