Alicia Silverstone Joins 'Suburgatory' Cast

'Clueless' Reunion On 'Suburgatory'

It's a "Clueless" reunion on "Suburgatory": Alicia Silverstone has joined the cast in a recurring role.

Silverstone will appear in multiple episodes of the ABC sitcom as Eden, a potential love interest for Jeremy Sisto's character, George, according to TVLine. The two actors previously co-starred in "Clueless," the 1995 cult classic about a very rich and popular fashion-obsessed high school girl (Silverstone) and her friends. Sisto played Elton, the A-list asshole who had a crush on her.

On "Suburgatory," the drama continues-- look for Silverstone's Eden to cause a rift between George and his buddy Noah (Alan Tudyk).

Silverstone is one of the most recent headline-grabbing casting announcements to hit "Suburgatory." In November, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino of "Jersey Shore" fame signed on to do a guest spot on the freshman ABC comedy.

"Saturday Night Live" alum Ana Gasteyer recently received a "Suburgatory" promotion, going from a recurring character to series regular as George's nosy neighbor Sheila Shay. "I screamed and jumped for joy and then went right to the table read," she told Entertainment Weekly when her deal closed.
