Arcade Fire's 'Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)' Becomes Interactive Music Video

Arcade Fire's Interactive Zombie Dance Party

Dance with Arcade Fire! Or at least, dance in front of your webcam and watch the zombified hipsters of Arcade Fire's new interactive music video for "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)" dance with you.

For the song, Arcade Fire has presented you with two ways to enjoy the music. In the interactive version, users can enable their webcam to control the herky-jerky motions of the figures on the screen, or click to pull them back and forth. It's not the band's first venture into interactive videography -- for "We Used to Wait," the band unveiled "The Wilderness Downtown," a video that used Google Maps to take watchers soaring above the streets of their childhood neighborhoods.

The site promises it's not recording you, but if you still feel eerie about it all, just watch the non-interactive video, which unfolds along a creepy, semi-suburban wasteland with faceless figures.
