Jason Trawick: Who Is Britney Spears' Fiance?

Who Is Jason Trawick?

Who is Jason Trawick?

He is 40 years-old, a talent manager and the former agent of Britney Spears. He is a graduate of Michigan State University who holds and MBA from Texas A&M University. He is also what doubtless many men now consider to be one of the luckiest guys in America: the just-announced fiance of pop princess Britney Spears.

For someone who has been romantically attached to one of the world's most recognizable faces for the past two years, Trawick has remained relatively obscure in the public eye. Perhaps it's because he's been on the other side: he is a former employee of the New York Daily News and first met Spears under professional guises in 2006, when he was an agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment and began representing her. Trawick also represented a slew of other famous faces, mostly of the blonde-and-beautiful variety, including Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff, Paris Hilton and Heidi Klum.

Trawick relinquished his role as Britney's manager in May 2011, when it was announced that he would be starting the arts and entertainment arm of Famos LLC, of which rockers Dave Stewart and Mick Jagger are partners.

But in 2008, Trawick allegedly helped secure Spears her well-received cameo appearance on "How I Met Your Mother," one of several moves that helped push the "Gimme More" singer past the tabloid fascination with her messy divorce from ex-husband Kevin Federline and a public meltdown that included shaving her head, checking into rehab and a lengthy custody battle over her two sons Preston and Jayden.

Shortly thereafter, Trawick and Spears began dating publicly. A June 2009 report in People confirmed the relationship, citing a source who said her family approved: "Her dad loves him. He's the best thing that happened to her."

Fast forward two years, and it looks like Britney may agree.
