In response to the commenters who claim that Latinos have contributed nothing, I direct them to Cesar Chavez.

Except in Mexico, that would be racist.

Longoria is pushing for a "National Latino Museum"......

First question is Why?

Second question has to do with building something to pander to someone of a certain race, creed, or color..... Don't we have a word for that?

Dr. King would not be pleased if he heard about Ms. Longoria's "dream"......

What a waste of time and money. Nobody has any interest in Latino history, due to the fact they've done next to nothing significant.

In the history of mankind in general; the socalled latino has been totally irrelevent. There has never really been any world reknowned latinos, specifically mexican, nor has there been any significant latino achievement beneficial to the world or this country.

Latinos seem to want recognition when actually none is deserved and/or warrented.

Does anyone know if she ended up getting her Master's in Chicano Studies? I've been oddly impressed by some of the comments she's made on Latino issues.
