'Terra Nova': Jason O'Mara Previews Season One Finale (VIDEO)

Jason O'Mara Previews The 'Terra Nova' Finale

"Terra Nova" star Jason O'Mara wasn't giving out any spoilers about who will and won't survive Monday night's two-hour Season 1 finale. On "Good Day New York," (weekdays, syndicated on Fox) he did all he could to tease the last episode of the dino-drama's first season without giving away any major details. O'Mara also pleaded with the show's fans to vote for the show in The People's Choice Awards to help it get renewed for a second season.

O'Mara plays Jim Shannon on "Terra Nova," a former Chicago narcotics detective who travels back in time with his family to Earth's Cretaceous Period. Living among the dinosaurs in a settler colony had led to weekly dino-danger and a few character deaths. O'Mara did his best to not to spoil any developments from the finale, but previewed more chaos to come. "People are gonna die ... a war is coming to 'Terra Nova,'" he said. When Rosanna Scotto asked if his character would make it through the finale, he demurred. "I can't answer that ... Things will get a little hairy."

When the conversation turned to the show's future and possible second season, O'Mara had a message for "Terra Nova" fans. "We don't know [about renewal] yet, so watch tonight, and then go and vote for us for Best New Drama at the People's Choice Awards."
