With "Cougar Town" left off ABC's midseason schedule and its third season cut seven episodes, the show's co-creators Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel are literally going to great lengths to get some hype back for their comedy.

Lawrence and Biegel are launching a tour, according to Variety, which includes "Cougar Town" viewing parties at different cities all over the country. There will be at least one regular cast member -- Courteney Cox and Busy Phillips star on the series -- and writer at every venue, as well as prizes for the fans in attendance.

So far, there have been events scheduled for Dec. 27 in Atlanta, Louisville and Sarasota, according to Lawrence's Twitter account. Other likely locations include New York, Boston, Phoenix, Austin, San Francisco, San Diego, Connecticut, Philadelphia and Lawrence mentioned three events in Los Angeles. More January locations will be announced Friday, Dec. 23.

"These are not ABC events," Lawrence tweeted Monday. "They're 'Bill and Kevin are idiot'' events."

Lawrence, who previously put in major efforts to save his last series "Scrubs," told The Hollywood Reporter in April that it's important to give loyal fans "as much access, content and interaction as possible." He added, "For me, every show that I've felt like, 'Wow, they actually care what the fans think' or 'They're actually writing for somebody,' I'm more loyal to."

When "Cougar Town" went M.I.A. from the ABC schedule in November, Lawrence tweeted, "I don't think ABC has vendetta against me. They have been great to me. Just think they made wrong move. We shall see..." Later, he added, "Still pissed off re: ABC schedule. Show will do fine, though. We will win in the end. Not delusional, I swear."

These people are sellouts for allowing their show to be desecrated by ABC's onscreen logo during virtually every frame. I would not allow a stupid dog video shot by me to be on "America's Funniest Home Videos" with a network bug on the screen, so why would people waste their time making a show treated in the same manner?

COUGAR TOWN IS NOT ABOUT COUGAR!!! (just the first 7 episodes)
People it's an ADULT friendship, funny show. Not the same gag...
Sorry for the haters but Courteney Cox is really good, her character is not the funny type & she make me laught & not just me, the cast has a great chemistry

You love it, spread the word, you don'y know it, give the show a chance, you don't like it, move on don't waste your time!

Maybe, #ABC should move #CougarTown to Thursdays or Fridays. Wouldn't that be a better schedule?

I don't understand the delay for Cougar Town coming back on and why they are cutting episodes. It is a great show. It is much better than some other ABC shows on right now. Has the brass at ABC lost their minds? They cancel 2 long running and famous daytime dramas and put on a stupid food talk show and are getting ready to put on another annoying show right afterwards with the irritating Ty Pennington. From what I see, The Chew's rating have not been anything to write home about.

The show should be cancel, or change some of the show's characters like dropping one of them; mainly the main character's ex-husband.

Cougar Town would be good if Courtney Cox would quit trying so hard to be funny. She should play it straight and for real.

That'll be $150 for my consulting fee.

Yeah, no matter how seriously funny she tries to be, she just seems serious to me.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! IT'S ADULT HUMOR GIVES ME A BREAK AND TURN OFF MY HECTIC LIFE FOR THIRTY MINUTES ONCE A WEEK! I'M HAPPILY MARRIED BUT COMEON, IT'S A COMEDY, NOT REAL LIFE AND THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT FUNNY! YOU KNOW THEY SAY THINGS THAT YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SAY BUT COULDN'T OR DO THINGS YOU WANTED TO DO BUT SHOULDN'T...IT IS HILARIOUS. NEED A VIEWING PARTY IN ALBUQUERQUE! I WOULD LOVE TO HELP HOST!!!!

Sorry, used to like the show, (LOVE Courtney Cox) but the anti-male, marriage bashing theme did not seem so funny after her real marriage collapsed.

I agree.

I hated the show from the outset. I hoped that it would get better, and it did... somewhat. I just don't think that it is going to make it.

My husband and I LOVE Cougar Town! Why do these stupid networks think they know what viewers want?

Excited!!!!!!!!!! I hope they have a viewing party in Denver! I would do a lot to help save this show.

If "Work It" turns out to be the horror show the previews make it out to be, "Cougar Town" will probably find itself back on the schedules sooner rather than later.
