Jennifer Hudson's Weight Loss, Is It Too Much? (POLL)
Jennifer Hudson is the person many of us will aspire to be in the next month or so -- slim, trim and diligent about her weight loss goals. But after her appearance at the VH1's Divas Celebrates Soul concert Sunday night, some are asking whether the singer/actress has lost too much weight for her own good.
The singer's figure has been the topic of much discussion this year as she slimmed down from a size 22 to what was said to be a size zero (a claim that Hudson later refuted) and as she took to TV commercials touting the popular diet program Weight Watchers. The singer even opened a weight loss center in her hometown of Chicago back in September.
The same month, Hudson told Self magazine that she initially set out to lose weight after having her now-2-year-old son, David. "I thought, Hold on—why doesn't anybody know I'm pregnant? And I wanted to set a good example for my son. Right after I had him, I began trying to change things," she said.
Hudson went on to detail how she shed the pounds this time around (she's done it two times before, she said) and how differently people treat her since she's lost the weight. "Before, my career was great, but since losing weight, I haven't stopped. I have worked every single day of this year," she told Self.
