Jules Manson, a failed Tea Party candidate for local office in California, recently called for the assassination of President Obama and his daughters in a racial epithet-ridden Facebook screed.

The post, originally about his opposition to the recent passage of the controversial National Defense Authorization Act, which includes a measure allowing the indefinite detention of suspected foreign terrorists, referred to the president as a "monkey." Then it got much worse.

"Assassinate the f----- n----- and his monkey children," Manson commented on his own post, according to a screen shot uploaded by Facebook group "Americans Against the Tea Party" and relayed by Your Black Politics blog.

The post has since been scrubbed from his Facebook profile, replaced with an explanation that the comments were "careless, emotionally driven remarks that had no real substance."

Manson, an avid Ron Paul supporter and libertarian, also writes that he has since been visited by the Secret Service, with whom he says he cooperated fully as he "was hiding nothing."

According to the New York Daily News, Manson, who lost his 2011 bid for a City Council seat in Carson, Calif. with only 4 percent of the vote, has also posted pictures of Obama dressed as Hitler from his Facebook account.

In a post listed since the latest flare-up, Manson derisively announces a 2012 run for California's 28th State Senate district as a Democrat.

"I intend on representing the Democratic Party with due dignity, and loyalty for my campaign contributors which will happen to be public-sector labor unions and other collective bargaining institutions that help keep the poor man down and dependent on government," he writes. "I will also strongly advocate for the raising of taxes to meet the growing unsustainable demand for pensions and compensation packages for state workers despite California being the second highest taxed state in the union."

The Daily News reports that it was unable to reach Manson at the phone number listed for his residence in a Carson trailer park.

Its strange here, most of the tea party are social securityreciepant s and are medicare and are cusing the govt. Yet they massage the public teat for all they can and cuss others. Another strange thing is they complain ablut the cost of everything but buy a new gun on every other social security check, their lady friends can even get them in pink now and talk ablut the coming armeddegen.

lol what a spook job, he is a political shill , a pawn, a piece that is expendable, and thus was paid probably very well for his radical comments, anyone else would have been arrested and tried by a jury.

In denial much CharRenee0O? What a desperate attempt to take the spotlight off of the real problem. This guy is an elected official and should be held accountable for the racist threats no matter what group he identifies with. You have no proof to your assertion and your projection is obvious. It won't work CharRenee0O.

In denial much CharRenee0O? Your projection is obvious and disturbing. Your attempt to take the spotlight off the obvious racism displayed by this elected official is not going to work either. I don't care what group he is with, he doesn't represent the whole group. But for you to speculate with your unfounded charges, is typical of a Tea Partier.

This is prob a plant for the Obamas this man was a plant to split the votes during election to help a Democrat win and now he is doing it again to discreditit the tea party. this is what Liberals do and People are seeing right through it.

Manson already admitted to it. The Tea Party has already discredited themselves with their hypocritical behavior. They pretend they are a grass roots group when the reality is they have been financed by the Koch brothers from day one. Where is your proof that Manson was a plant by the Democratic party? If you have none, then you need to retract your statement as it's a lie.

The Truth Is Finally Revealed.

That Tea Party, the gift that keeps on giving. That ill formed army, was the worst thing that ever happened to the Republican Party. Mr. Manson was only being truthful, as to why the Tea Party was created in the first place. Their very well funded mission, was to commit a Democratic Presidents Assassination, occasionally used as a last resort. The target, in their fear filled eyes and ice cold hearts, was President Obama. It was the most brutal and relentless, character assassination attempts, in history. They declared he was an unreasonable leader that could not be trusted, who was born on Muslim soil, and raised as one. So many others like Manson declared him a possible terrorist, rather than an American born Christian. The biggest concern that the Tea Party had with Obama was finally brought to light, with Mr. Manson's heart felt statements. I believe the record will show, that most of the Republican candidates, did support the Tea Party's beliefs at some point. Until they were found out to be, The President Obama, Character Assassination Machine, that failed the Republicans miserably!

Even if he was a member of the tea party (which he is not and in fact "spoke derisively of the tea party"), to associate Jules Manson to the Tea Party is not relevant to his racist rantings, which should not reflect on the Tea Party, atheists, Ron Paul supporters, baby boomers, trailer park dwellers, Mexicans or any other group. He alone is accountable for his statements.

There is an irony in condemning racism on one hand, while generalizing and stereotyping the Tea Party members, Republicans, Occupy Wall Street members or any other group on the other hand.

There is no proof that Mr. Manson was a Tea Party activist to begin with, yet proof exists that he is not. In light of this, the association should be removed.

By the way, Manson was not born on US soil either, he is a Mexican. He is also an atheist. So sad that

This teabagger is typical of their ilk. Why is he not in prison? Threatening the POTUS is a crime.
01:28 PM on 12/27/2011
This man does NOT represent the Tea Party. The Tea Party is not made up of assassins or any sort of hatemongers. Of course he failed as a candidate! The Huff Post is a liberal wipe which delights in any attempt, however feeble, to discredit conservatism as a whole, and this story is just one more of those.

Mr. Manson, who was kicked out of an atheist website was described by the editor of that site (a gentleman who "despises" the Tea Party), as an individual who spoke "derisively" of the Tea Party.

There needs to be some type of genetic invented, in an effort to screen and deny parenthood to people who would produce excrement such as this clown.

There was such a thing in the United States, practiced until well into the 20th Century, called Eugenics. Here is the definition: "The science of improving a human population by controlled breeding to increase the occurrence of desirable heritable characteristics...."

In an article of 6/22/11 in the Raleigh "News and Observer": -- "From 1929 to 1974, the state, through the N.C. Eugenics Board, systematically sterilized people who had undesirable traits it considered hereditary."

This method was used a lot to keep black people in the Southern United States from reproducing.

Are you sure you want to go this route again?

Yeah, I believe it has its origins in the Nazi Party

"Manson, an avid Ron Paul supporter and libertarian, also writes that he has since been visited by the Secret Service, with whom he says he cooperated fully as he "was hiding nothing."

This is why, even as a GOPer, I am totally against Ron Paul. He is on the fringe IMO and so are many of his followers. I pray he leaves the GOP, and takes his followers with him.
