Kim Kardashian Slammed By New PETA Billboard For Fur Wardrobe (EXPLICIT PHOTO)

Peta Slams Kim Kardashian

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 12/20/11 07:34 PM ET Updated: 12/20/11 07:54 PM ET

Kim Kardashian can't run. And she can't hide. PETA finally mounted a new billboard in the reality star's hometown of Beverly Hills publicly criticizing her fox fur wardrobe.

First reported by Hollywood Life in November, the billboard shows an image of Kim Kardashian wrapped in fur next to a pair of young foxes and a message that reads: "KIM: These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back?"

"Kim knows that animals on fur farms are beaten, electrocuted, and often skinned alive," PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange wrote in a statement on their website. "We've explained it to her, and she's watched a video expose that was filmed inside fur farms. When Kim is ready to put an end to her relationship with fur, PETA will be happy to take her discards and donate them to the homeless."

PETA writes on its website:

When people learn that millions of innocent animals are beaten, boiled, hanged, and electrocuted for their fur every year; that each fur coat, each piece of fur lining or fur trim, and each fur cat toy represents the intense suffering of dozens of animals; and that furriers intentionally mislabel the fur of cats and dogs as fur from other species or as faux fur -- then every decent human being will want to go fur-free.

While the E! reality star prefers animal-skinned fashion, The New York Daily News reminds readers that her sister has taken a completely different stance on the matter.

Khloe Kardashian stripped down for PETA back in 2008 as part of the organization's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign.

But PETA doesn't stop with simply criticizing the fur industry and its customers; they also propose some solutions. On their website, PETA's cruelty-free clothing guide offers tips on looking trendy without hurting any animals.

"I will continue to eat and where their skins.”

Perhaps you should concentrate on learning proper English.

You defend a woman beingbullied by teens on a bus, yet you advocate for theinhumane treatment of animals?

Your comment is truly confusing especially after reading some of your other comments. There are people, like me, who advocate for those who cannot defend themselves and that certainly includes animals.

That comment was a while back.  I don't think animals should be killed for fashion sake.

PETA? I find it so hypodritical, it's taboo to wear fur and its ok to bash an indiidual on a billboard but it's not ok to post a billboard like the one in NYC that said "the most dangerous place for an african american is in th womb". Why is it liberals vaue the life of an animal but a human is unimportan?

Surely PETA knows that fox fur is ranched.  Fox cubs aren't orphaned.
10:44 AM on 12/22/2011
Yeah and that matters how?

Does it make putting them in a little cage any better?
Or does it make it ok to shove an iron rod into their anus to electrocute them?
You wouldn´t put a cat in a wire cage without a box and nesting material so it has to suffer through hot and cold weather and than kill and skin it for fur, so it is just as wrong to do it with any animal

Then let PETA complain about the truth, not lie about orphaned kits in foxholes.
07:32 AM on 12/22/2011
PETA and the Kardashians - can't decide which entity is more revolting.
10:46 AM on 12/22/2011
Well, I think I find the animal killing woman worse...

And yes, giving someone money to keep an animal under horrible conditions and than to kill it for you is also killing..to pay someone to kill someone else counts still as murder even if you did not swing the knife yourself
09:00 PM on 12/21/2011
i'm sorry the only one that needs fur is the animal born with it have you seen the horrible way they are skinned we have plenty of materials to make clothes from we don't need to kill animals to do it :-( say no to fur !!

Kim Kardashian should sue the pants off of PeTA.

Oooh..what a dirrrty mind you have..you want to see all the nakkid people

It really is a shame that Huff Post Green believes it is appropriate to publish an endless litany of pro-PeTA propaganda puff pieces disguised as news.
10:06 AM on 12/22/2011
pro-PETA propaganda? Kim Kardashian wears fur. Fur is cruel. There is an ad against it.

I don't see how any of that is "propaganda".
Seems pretty straightforward to me.
09:40 AM on 12/23/2011
You are genuinely serious, aren't you? Truly amazing. You mean aside from the article itself which was written as if PeTA wrote it themselves.... and the glaringly obvious fact that there is literally a slideshow of PeTA ads, which PeTA did not pay the Huff Post a cent for?!?
05:13 PM on 12/21/2011
I agree with Max. Make it bigger! :) I think the billboard is in fine taste. PETA is not being graphic with violence or nuditiy; they did not use profanity ; nor are they protesting with naked bloody humans thrown about the Kardashian lawn( that maybe pushing it ) They even put the letters in pink- cute!

Good luck teaching a pig how to take a shower.
05:05 PM on 12/21/2011
Lmao!
10:48 AM on 12/22/2011
Hey hey...pigs can learn how to use a shower, pigs are very clever and nice animals...

Fur wearing women not so much...I mean the nice part..I think that Kim showers, even if she does not know how to use a shower, she has servants, doesn´t she?

More proof of just how vile she really is.

"Kim knows that animals on fur farms are beaten, electrocuted, and often skinned alive," PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange wrote in a statement on their website. "We've explained it to her, and she's watched a video expose that was filmed inside fur farms."
01:54 PM on 12/21/2011
It's mind boggling isn't it? Well, at least for those of us WITH a mind and/or a conscience that is.
07:08 PM on 12/21/2011
Most of us "sane" people of the world don't mind the processing of animals for our food and clothing. I can tell you first hand that foxes are vermin and good for nothing but their fur. The only thing that makes me mad when I watch a PETA movie is the idea that they are going to bruise the meat that may be my dinner or tear up a perfectly good piece of fur or leather.

Your post demonstrates quite clearly that you are far from sane. Nothing more need be said.

Foxes are part of the ecosystem, useful for nature, eating rodents, dead animals and insects which may otherwise spread diseases...but I guess that is too high for your hatefilled mind.

But that is something we have to live with, for every intelligent, kind hearted person are at least 10 other uninformed, hatefilled, life hating people who have no clue about nature and think they are the best evolution has birthed...

Looking for social conscious from the Kardashians is futile. That said, PETA is annoying.
