Rufus Wainwright Sings 'Minuit Chretiens' On 'Fallon' (VIDEO)

Ring In The Holidays With Rufus Wainwright's Soulful Rendition Of 'Minuit Chretiens'

If you're not feeling especially Christmas-ready, why not flood yourself with as many holiday songs as you can? Start with Rufus Wainwright's stripped-down performance of "Minuit Chretiens," from Tuesday night's "Jimmy Fallon Show."

Wainwright has performed "Minuit Chretiens" (which, despite what may be an unfamiliar title to some, takes the tune of "O Holy Night") before, and though he doesn't have a holiday album himself, he appears on "The McGarrigle Christmas Hour," with his mother, aunt and sister. Wainwright also has a new album coming up next spring, as well as a production of his original opera, "Prima Donna," which will open the New York City Opera season in February.

Clad in festive vest and scarf, Wainwright's warm performance should help your heart grow at least a few sizes.
