Debra Messing, Daniel Zelman Separated: Former Couple Still Plan To Live Together

Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman may have confirmed their split after ten years of marriage earlier this week, but the former couple have managed to avoid the acrimonious fall-out of a lot of their peers.

On the contrary -- they're still living together. US Weekly reports that Messing, 43, and Zelman, 44, have been separated for most of 2011. Here's the catch -- they still plan to live together in New York and raise their seven-year-old son Roman -- with no immediate plans for divorce or a new living situation.

"They have been couple for twenty years, and the nature of their relationship simply changed over time," a rep for Messing and Zelman told the magazine.

The "Smash" actress and TV producer met while students in New York University; the pair married in 2000.
