Bill Clinton Details Charity Work As Preview To CNN's 'Big Stars, Big Giving'

It's a running joke for people to ask Bill Clinton if he's accomplished more post-presidency, as one of the world's leading change-makers of the past decade.

That's one reason Clinton will be featured on CNN's "Big Stars, Big Giving" a special in which major philanthropists are interviewed about their charitable efforts this Saturday, Dec. 24.

As a preview, CNN shares some of Clinton's good works, including raising $23 million for rebuilding Haiti and founding programs in 13,000 schools to fight childhood obesity.

Besides that, Clinton's brought together numerous heads of states, Nobel laureates and activist celebrities such as Matt Damon to address problems ranging from poverty to climate change.

"I try to bring together people who know things I don't who can do things I can't," he told CNN.

"Big Stars, Big Giving" premieres on CNN Saturday, Dec., 24th at 2 p.m. EST and re-airs Sunday, Dec., 25 at 4 p.m. EST. The special also features philanthropic celebrities J.Lo, Will Ferrell and Tony Bennett, among others.
