Dog Wearing Pants Does Something Amazing (VIDEO)

It's an Internet tale as old as time...

"It was Christmas day so I threw a pair of Santa pants on my dog," Redditer PhillyPickles writes in the description of this YouTube video in which his dog does "something amazing."

And we're inclined to agree.

Although another person on Reddit already pointed out that your dog might not need Santa pants (or any pants) to do this amazing feat, we still think it's pretty hilarious.

But please, don't go pushing your dogs down the stairs to see if they can do this.

I QUIT!!!! Notice, the up front adds are much longer than the snippet of video one sees. Not only that but it'st the some one over and over and over, all videos of the listing.

Very cool! I'm *also* constantly amazed at the abilities that surface in dogs when they are faced with various disabilities. I remember a video of a blind dog that was led around by the second family dog. And there are plenty of examples of three-legged dogs who don't sit around feeling sorry for themselves.

my dog does that every time someone rings the door bell and he happens to be upstairs....he darts down so quick that his hind end never hits the ground. LOL!

I think that's what the dog is trying to figure out. What he does know is that they create a handicap for going down the stairs. The dog's ingenuity in finding a way around his new "handicap" is pretty amazing. As for the folks who put the confining pants on the dog, not much can be said.

They're red and white like santa claus'. A lot of pet owners put human type clothes on their animals around Christmas because... you know... Jesus was born... and it reminds us that those people can afford pants for a dog.
