Jennifer Aniston: Extensions Destroyed My Hair (PHOTOS)
We were startled this year when Jennifer Aniston took the choppers to her famous long mane, axing any remnants of the Rachel into a short and chic bob.
Earlier this year, Aniston's cherished hair stylist Chris McMillan told Allure that he and Jen decided to make the cut to avoid the "'Real Housewives' look":
"I'm loving bobs again. I love the girl in the YSL ads. It's a sexy look. The reason that I'm loving a bob at the moment... There are so many long, layered hairstyles and-don't get me wrong, I love that. But The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills all have that. You know what I mean? And what's the opposite direction you can go in?" McMillan said.
"It's nice to take the extensions out of the hair and do something more natural."
And in a new interview with In Style, Jen opens up about why she cut her locks.
Was she going for the anti-Angelina look? Just tired of blow drying everyday? Was new squeeze Justin Theroux a short hair fan? It turns out the problem was more logistical:
"The real reason I cut my hair? My real hair was getting thinned out again from all the extensions. It was starting to look fake."
We love your hair natural, Jen! You might even inspire us the next time we sit down for our (way less expensive) chop jobs.
