Mary Tyler Moore: Style Evolution (PHOTOS)

In the 1960s and '70s, Mary Tyler Moore was a regular on the red carpet, thanks to the huge success of The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Dick Van Dyke Show. Both award-winning shows inspired other series such as 30 Rock, and catapulted the Brooklyn actress to fame and sartorial scrutiny.

Thankfully, Moore didn’t wear boring ensembles, but instead showed off her lean figure in one-shoulder dresses and column gowns. During her down time, Moore also kept her look sophisticated with tailored separates and a neutral color palette.

See more of Moore’s style as we celebrate her 75th birthday this Thursday.
