Cat Power King Rides By

Cat Power, Giovanni Ribisi and Filipino boxer/politician Manny Pacquiao are strange bedfellows with a common cause -- the Festival of Children Foundation and The Ali Forney Center. The trio joined forces for a song/video to benefit the charities for children and LGBT youth -- you can download the track at Cat Power's website, and donate your chosen amount. The 1996 song "King Rides By" is redone here and set to a video of Pacquiao punching a speed bag, directed by Ribisi. The new "King Rides By" is nearly unrecognizable from the original, and we daresay, we like it more.

Cat Power is one of my favorite live acts ever, she is such an incredible talent. I have traveled to to other states to see her, (even saw her in NZ!) and it has always been worth every penny. Love you, Chan!
