Founding Fathers Beer Supports Military Families

Drink A Beer, Help A Military Family In Need

When you crack open a Founding Fathers American lager, you'll relish a blend of three hops from the Pacific Northwest while helping military families in need.

Founding Fathers' American Lager and American Lager Light hit select Minnesota stores this week and 50 percent of sales will benefit two military charities, Tee it up for the Troops and Minnesota Military Family Foundation, KIMT reports.

"It's important because the stress that our military has had on it over the last 10 years has left a lot of families in need and Founding Fathers thought it was a great opportunity to raise a lot of money for them," Phil Knutsen, CEO for Founding Fathers Products, told WDIO.com

Tee it up for the Troops has raised more then $3 million through its golf tournaments, around the country, to help military families since it launched in 2005. Minnesota Military Family Foundation supports military members and their spouses and children with critical grant money.

"We need more companies in this country to step up and help the young kids and gals coming back," Vietnam War Veteran and Tee it up for the Troops representative Bob Dunham, told KIMT.
