I think un-treated post-traumatic-stress and depression is at the root of a lot of insomnia's...and it doesn't even have to associated with the military at all...counting backwards from 1000 works for me...haven't made it to 900 yet.

I have sleep disorders they have'nt even invented yetso have to do it all, Room VERY dark, white noise generator, the right kind of magnetic matress pad, ionized air, no caffeine after six, bed time always around eleven, milk before bed, Trazadone (and sometimes klonapin) I now get six hours sleep instead of three.
