NFL Playoffs Matchups 2012: Patriots, Ravens, Packers, 49ers Clinch Byes

NFL Playoffs Matchups

Tim Tebow, T.J. Yates and Andy Dalton will all be starting playoff games in 2012. How many NFL prognosticators hit the trifecta on those three things happening?

Less surprisingly, the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers grabbed the top seeds in each conference and will have byes in the first round. San Francisco and Baltimore also clinched first-round byes by grabbing the No. 2 seeds.

As for the wild card matchups, Tebow and the No. 4 seed Broncos will host the No. 5 seed Pittsburgh Steelers.

The other wild card game in the AFC will feature the surprising Cincinnati Bengals as the No. 6 seed and the No. 3 seed and AFC South champions, the Houston Texans.

In the NFC, Atlanta clinched the No. 5 seed and will take on the winner of Sunday night's Giants-Cowboys game for the NFC East title.

New Orleans clinched the No. 3 seed and will take on the No. 6 Detroit Lions in a rematch of Week 13 when the Saints won 31-17 in the Superdome.
