Celebrity Wardrobe Malfunctions

First Posted: 01/ 2/2012 5:32 pm Updated: 03/ 8/2012 12:20 pm

Celebrity wardrobe malfunctions have become a relatively common occurrence in today's technology driven world.

While some bloopers are purely accidental, very tame and could happen to anyone -- a gust of wind blowing a skirt or an unladylike exit from a vehicle -- when the embarrassing moments happen to stars, it can make for some excellent water cooler talk for the rest of us.

There was a time, not too long ago, when it seemed every young girl Hollywood was purposefully being photographed from an unflattering angle, revealing some piece of an undergarment (or lack thereof) and although that trend has thankfully died down, we still often get to see the Spanx shot, nipple tape or wave-induced bathing suit blunder.

No one is safe from these embarrassing mishaps, wardrobe malfunctions know no boundaries. Regardless of their gender, age, shape, or size, celebrities at every level of fame can fall victim to a broken strap or see-through shirt.

From Elizabeth Banks' halfway zipped zipper to Justin Bieber's near tush-revealing wave, check out some of our favorite oops moments below!

if they were your neighbors and befriended you i know you wouldn't be saying what your saying about them. you would want to play hero and respond to the millions of others like yourself and go tell the kardashians what a cool friend they have because you logged onto the huffpost and defended them. i'm deleting my account.i don't care for this kind of thing.people should be happy. what about your life?as for mmbcf...you sound FAT!happy new year.

I doubt many would want to see Kim K's ginormous bucket of lard unleashed without the safety of lots of elastic and a few yards of fabric. That thing is scary even when its in its safety harness. Someone could lose an eye if the steel buttons start poppin off when the beast tries to escape its confines

Right, malfunctions my but. Most of those "accident" were well planned attention seeking behaviors for the purpose of free press / airtime. You can't te;; me any different.

Why do you, and others, insist on calling any of the Kardashians celebrities? There was once a time when that words was used to describe someone that had a talent that they shared with others. This family has NO talent and are only concerned with themselves! PLEASE STOP treating them like they matter!

/see more at the beach. clothing styles are what people chose to wear. If they have problems with their clothing, well, it happens, much like the guy that came out of the washroom with his pants still unzipped, or the toilet paper sticking out of the back or on the shoe. It happens to everybody sometime sooner or later. and sometimes , it's done on purpose. publicity.

A dress blown by the wind can happen to anyone. (Kate Middleton, but with her beautiful legs, vavavoom!) Accidents like that happen every day to all of us! But the rest of the tramps, lady gaga, kk, courtney love, 'snooki', they are attention mongers hoping for exposure. If not they wouldn't wear skin tight, cut down to their naval, up to their butt cheeks, see thru fabrics. It's the only way they can get attention. The likes of Kate Middleton or Taylor Swift are just beautiful to look at, they don't need to draw unsavory attention to themselves. So they wore full skirts and the wind caught them and blew them up, big deal. (Not like it was done intentionally, like gaga, spears, snookie, kk etc.etc.) I don't call those a wardrobe malfuntions, just an unfortunate circumstance caused by an unforseen wind.
