Rose Parade 2012 Lineup: Float Order For The Tournament Of Roses Parade

Order of Floats In The 2012 Pasadena Rose Parade

The 123rd Tournament of the Roses Parade has officially kicked off on the corner of Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena, California with a Wells Fargo float illustrating the theme of this year's parade: "Just Imagine."

As the parade meanders along its 2-hour, 5.5 mile route throughout Pasadena, spectators can expect to see 91 exhibits in total including 44 floats, 16 marching bands and 22 equestrian troupes, and others including a fly-over from the U.S. air force.

Lead by Iraq war veteran J.R. Martinez as grand marshall, notable floats in this year's parade include the Donate Life float (#41), which honors with life of Christina-Taylor Green, the 9-year-old girl killed last year in the shooting that injured U.S. Rep Gabrielle Giffords, and a 70-foot-wide octopus puppet named "Goldie Sachs" (#44) sponsored by the activist group "Occupy the Rose Parade."
