Steve Spagnuolo Fired: Rams Reportedly Part Ways With Head Coach

Rams Fire Head Coach After Two Seasons

The first NFL head coach to be fired on the 2012 edition of "Black Monday" is.. Steve Spagnuolo.

On Monday morning, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, confirmed that the St. Louis Rams have decided to part ways with Spagnuolo after three abysmal seasons.

Shortly after the Rams' season-ending loss to the 49ers, ESPN's Chris Mortensen tweeted that the Rams would fire Spagnuolo along with General Manager Billy Devaney.

Black Monday, of course, is the day after the NFL season concludes when several coaches find out their fate.

According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune, Philadelphia is the likely landing spot for Spagnuolo.

Spagnuolo won just 10 games in his three seasons with the Rams.
