Belarus' First Gay-Themed Movie Trailer Released (VIDEO)

Two strapping men roam dense forests, splash in mountain lakes and kiss passionately, before huddling close to one another by candlelight.

No, this isn't "Brokeback Mountain," but just a few of the scenes shown in the trailer for what Towleroad calls "the first Belarusian flick to address same-sex love."

In the nation often referred to as "Europe's last dictatorship," where LGBT relationships are legal though still largely taboo, the film will hopefully prove to be culturally significant.

Watch the trailer for the new film, the title of which has yet to be translated, above.
