Rick Santorum Calls Ron Paul 'Disgusting'

Rick Santorum reportedly called Ron Paul "disgusting" on Tuesday, speaking with a group of Fox News reporters after an interview.

The Hill reports:

Rick Santorum blasted fellow Republican candidate Ron Paul as "disgusting" following a media interview Tuesday morning, blaming the Texas congressman for a series of robo-calls insinuating that the former Pennsylvania senator was both pro-choice and against the second amendment.

On Monday night Santorum told voters at an Iowa Pizza Ranch that Paul was behind the calls and that everyone in his family except for his special-needs 3-year-old daughter is an NRA member.

"Believe it or not, someone is out making robocalls suggesting that I am anti-Second Amendment," he said. "Please tell your friends and neighbors that whoever that person is -- Ron Paul -- let's just lay the record out. I am a [National Rifle Association] member, as is every other member of my family. Okay, our three-and-a-half-year-old is not an NRA member yet."

Why Libertarianism ~ is ALL wrong: 1) Limited military involvement ~ We have no choice but to maintain geopolitical power and dominance or someone else will. 2) Maximum individual

It must be checked. 3) Sound fiscal government ~ requires proper investment in domestic infrastructure and planning for the future ... and increasing spending during economic downturns. 4) a balanced budget ~ is not critically important ... it is much more important that investment in the public and private sectors are sufficient and growing and that all citizens become health insured from birth to grave in order to reduce projected public obligations. 5) protection of personal property ~ public projects often are more inportant than one individual's property 6) Social programs, but only for those who make a personal contribution
to raise their own condition and do something for society in return for the assistance they receive." ~ often severely mentally and physically handicapped persons, elderly and children ... cannot contribute in any meaningful way and should not be just left in the gutter.

Could you try to muster a little respect? He stated his 3 year old has a condition that indicated she wouldn't live to see her 1st birthday. They're grateful she's approaching her 4th birthday, and if you have a child, you should be able to identify with his situation. If not, then I'm conderned about you.

Pure spin. The GOP is getting back to its roots and conservative values. It's what the party wants and it includes those in politics as well as those patriots who are only passively involved on a community level. After the liberal swing in the opposite direction, there's quite a large number who want that, including Independents, and that's not spin.

There's no reason for the GOP to fear RPaul. WE have actually watched the debates and learned that the libertarian goes to extremes in too many important areas, so he's no threat to anyone for us. He isn't what we're after or what we're about as Conservatives. I can't imagine what prompts you to say such a thing.

DC may be add....icted to money but it has nothing to do with Jewish people, and for you to try ot make it a bigoted thing is ridiculous. Lets face some facts about funding and exposure. Four years ago, Bh0 spent $800 million on campaigning and McCain spent closer to $350 million. What does that tell you? Can you apply it to your comment in any way?

Don't get your hopes up too high. What does he have to run on? Of over 500 campaign promises, he kept less than 24%. He has messed up everything he's touched, and he saw to it healthcare was pushed through UNREAD, b/c if they'd read it first NO ONE WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR IT. He promised all bills would be posted for the public to read, but they had to not keep that promise because of all that was tucked into this bill at the last minute, when they wouldn't let the GOP in the room even. Now we know that if you're 70 and have a stroke you will be denied all care to recover except for pain pills.....HOW'S THAT GRAB YOU???
His own party has 1/3 that dont even want him to run. Add them to the GOP, the TP, and the Independents, ----WHO IS GOING TO VOTE FOR HIM???
