Dana White Rips Fedor Emelianenko: UFC President Says MMA Legend 'Sucks' (VIDEO)

Dana White on Fedor Emelianenko: 'He Sucks'

Please, dont hold back. Tell us how you really feel, Dana.

With his verbal takedown of a heavyweight fighter who is widely regarded as one of the best of all-time, UFC President Dana White has once again lived up to his reputation as one of the most outspoken figures in athletics. A cameraman from TMZ caught up with White outside Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills where the UFC president seemed more than happy to talk.

White first told TMZ that UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva would probably fight again in June in Brazil. The UFC president was then asked if Fedor Emelianenko, the famed Russian fighter, was ever coming to the UFC. "Fedor sucks man. You guys need to get with the facts, deal with it," White responded with a smirk. "He sucks. Get over the Fedor thing."

Emelianenko has never fought in the UFC, but possesses a career MMA record of 33-4 with victories over many of the greatest fighters in the sport.

Even if White isn't impressed with Emelianenko, one of his best fighters is. Alistair Overeem, who notched an impressive victory over Brock Lesnar last weekend, told MMA Weekly in December that he has always wanted to fight Fedor.

At 35 years old, Emelianenko may not still be in his prime, but he did win his most recent fight, knocking out Satoshi Ishii on New Year's Eve in Japan.

White's comment was just the lastest salvo in the ongoing spat between he and Fedor's camp. In December, Vadim Finkelstein, Fedor's manager, described White as a "dog on hay -- he neither eats it himself, nor lets the others eat it."

Can't say we've ever heard that expression before, but we're going to assume it's not flattering.
