Miami Weather Wednesday: A Cold Morning, But A Sunny Afternoon

Bundle Up, Miami! Arctic Chill Brings Cold Morning, But A Sunny Afternoon

Though a wind chill advisory ended at 9 a.m., Wednesday will still be a relatively nippy day in Miami as an arctic cold front originating in Siberia continues to pass over South Florida.

After shivering through the coldest morning of the season with temperatures in the 30s and 40s, the day will be mostly sunny with highs near 65 degrees Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

The front isn't through yet, however: a hazardous weather outlook remains in place for Wednesday night as temperatures could drop below freezing in parts of Glade and Hendry Counties, prompting a freeze watch and frost advisory.

Forecasters say temperatures in Miami should hover around 50 degrees Wednesday night and rise into the lower 70s on Thursday, with afternoon highs in the 70s expected through Tuesday.
