'Project Runway All Stars': Isaac Mizrahi Psyched For The Drama (VIDEO)

Isaac Mizrahi may not have watched every season of "Project Runway," but he's sure excited for his judging gig on the new "Project Runway All Stars." Wednesday on "The Wendy Williams Show" (weekdays, syndicated on Fox), the famed fashion designer admitted that while he's always been a fan of the series, he didn't exactly consider it appointment viewing. "If I'm not involved, how can I watch it?" he joked.

But after being recruited to be a judge on "All Stars" by Harvey Weinstein, Mizrahi has ratcheted his excitement level up several notches. He gave an enthusiastic preview of what to expect on the new show, which pits memorable and talented former "Project Runway" contestants, but not winners, against each other in a fashion competition extravaganza.

"All of these amazing people who come back to throw down again ... like all those people who were so great but didn't win the first time ... they're like, 'Excuse me, coming back to win this time.' The drama, the drama, the drama!" Mizrahi exclaimed.

"Project Runway All Stars" premieres Thurs., Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.

Isaac is just too much into himself to be objective, period.
He spends so much time on QVC hawking his wares &
acts like he was the original 'Coco Chanel' - ugh! Another
reason I'll skip this spin-off. The Project Accessories
spin-off was dreadfully done and boring overall. They did
find talented designers but the process for the competition
was flawed greatly - and the winner, had questionable true
marketability with his creations. The female runner-up should
have won, hands down. The judging panel missed it completely
& Molly Sims is too into herself to watch as a "HOST/Judge".
She is a pretty woman & fairly good actress but I felt she was
out of her depth with this gig. Sorry. Sometimes you should
not spin off a series because you damage the original brand.
Heidi & the Weinsteins should know better.
