If you're going to impersonate Lady Gaga, you've got to go all out -- no matter how young you are.
When eight-year-old Laci dresses up as Lil' Lady Gaga for her big moment on TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras", her mom goes above and beyond the age-inappropriate outfit: She also has a mirror-encrusted egg for her daughter to climb out of.
Sadly, even though it's all "bling-bling style," just like Laci wants, the routine doesn't go quite as planned.
Watch our exclusive clip from the Jan. 5 episode to see Laci get carried out, in-ova, by two handy men. But when it comes time for her big "hatching" moment, things fall apart. There's just one small, but important detail they didn't factor in: Eggs are oval-shaped and easy to tip over without a flat surface.
The crowd reacts (as any crowd witnessing a small child in a giant blonde wig falling out of a phallic-looking prop would), and so does Laci's mom. "The plan was not to spill out of the egg," she clarifies. Her complaints to the handy men who didn't stay to hold the egg steady are met with silence and a shrug. Really, what is there to say?
Thankfully, Laci's shoulder shaking, strutting and her "too cute" Lady Gaga outfit, complete with cut-outs, saved the day.
