Despite denying divorce rumors back in August, it appears that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith may be finally going their separate ways -- at least according to In Touch Weekly.

The magazine is reporting that Jada Smith recently met with celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has represented the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, and Kim Kardashian.

A source tells In Touch that Smith has "finally begun to take steps to dissolve their marriage," even reportedly turning down a role in Keanu Reeves directorial debut to spend time with her kids during this "difficult time."

The magazine first reported that Will and Jada had separated in August after 13 years of marriage. The pair issued a statement in response to the allegations: "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

The star couple have two kids, Jaden and Willow -- whose careers were reportedly at the root of the Smiths' marital problems -- and Will Smith has one son from a previous marriage.

If Jada has indeed met with Wasser, she'll be in good hands. Here are 10 other celebrities that Wasser has represented:

There is nothing here we don't already know. You posted a rehash of old news. Shame on you!

Humanity in the modern age, treat celebrities like their predecessors of the old days treated their gods. It seems that human beings have to have something to idolize, look up to, admire, wish to be like or live their lives for.

Celebrities are the new age obsession of modern man, who once built altars and brought offerings to their gods, the modern day devotee (fan) now does the same, purchasing their pictures, videos, music in a frenzied state of wanting to be next to them, if only through a conduit.

The Modern day Priest is the peddler of these New Age Celebrities Gods. They pose as media moguls, press agents, producers and distributors of the mania that consumes the fans. These modern day idolaters scream, dance, sweat and cry over the "gods" they chose and keep their gods amply supplied with all the modern conveniences, and sometimes so modern, their "gods" can live in full furnished multimillion dollar homes.

Like any religion, the worshippers keep the Gods and their Mediators in power as the devotee depletes his resources just for one more favor or act of kindness towards them. These acts of kindness maybe inclusive of but not exclusive of, autographs, pictures, handshakes, special tokens and VIP seating at a gala affair.

I've been thinking that myself. What's happened to the idea that one should give to God what's God's: respect, love, willingness to listen/conform our actions to His higher example.

When did an audience become a group of fans? I guess back around Elvis' heyday if not earlier. Performers of any kind on a national/international stage do their audience a disservice when they demean them by calling them "fans". "Audience" carries the sense of people involved in receiving/respecting the talent they've come to see. "Fans" lumps members of the audience all together/emphasizes their fawning attitude.

The price of concert and event tickets is outrageous, fueled by the ridiculous salaries of athletes/managers/coaches, etc. These folks are not fndng cures for cancer, outlining ways to revive our nvrnmnt, turning down perks so that all might simply live. The money wd be much better spent on improving the lives of our children/our aged.

All our prnts/children need to rcnsdr what they're spending bg bucks or bucks they can't really affrd, to sit in a huge stdm, filled with other folks screaming so that they can hardly hear the band.

You're right, clbrtes, most of whom are really not worthy of admiration for their character, charity, or simplicity of life style, aren't setting a good example of a life well lived, not just one of conspicuous consumption. They'd have to chck their Bibles or other ancient spiritual works that have stood the test of time for that.

Maybe if they hadn't chatted about their sex life every interview they got, they wouldn't have had to go home and try to live up to it. Then they might be more satisfied with each other in the real world.

In Touch Weekly is a notoriously sensationalist and faulty rag.
Maybe if divorce information turned up in People, it would be more reliable.

What seems to be the problem with American Celeb's. They just come up over-night with '' irreconcillable differences'' what were they thinking before giong to the alter? many of them are too selfish, bcos marriage is a Sacred Institution of Give-n-Take.

Boy.

I sure hope he gets a good lawyer too, because female divorce lawyers go for the b@lls.

At least, whatever's left of them after the wife takes them.

"The star couple have two kids." Who edited this?? Correction: The star couple HAS two kids.
12:15 PM on 12/31/2012
Rudena,

They are both correct depending upon whether you are thinking American English or British English. The Brits say "have" instead of "has"
12:39 AM on 02/19/2013
Actually, it is a case of plural and singular. He/she has, they/we have. Therefore since couple is plural it would be have.

He just couldn't deal with those absurd hair extensions any longer (let alone pay for them)
07:23 PM on 04/12/2012
It's her hair Natal.
10:11 AM on 04/13/2012
To the extent that it is attached to her head it serves as her "hair" - doesn't appear to be real though.
06:58 PM on 02/18/2013
that is her hair indeed- she bought it, its hers.....

If you want to post your writings, you need to learn to write.
I clicked on your link and found your writing skills to be appallingly bad.

You wrote something, Brian, but it's not an article. It is ... well, it is a grouping of words about the Smith family and your unsubstantiated declarations on their marriage and divorce. Badly written, poorly imagined, this bit of drivel seems to exist only to show your ongoing - and near obsessive - devotion to Will Smith.

Jada & Will, I LOVE YOU GUYS! Just hang on in there! Your kids really need you together--and besides, I truly believe you two are just meant to be togehter, forever. May God continue to be with all four of you (Jada, Jaden, Willow, & Will).

You spend your time denoucing someone for their lack of spelling ..Name some Afro-American scientists....Who are some top American surgeons...Teachers?..Yet you have more adoration for the people who are over paid and worthless ..you follow their personal problems and lives....Maybe when African Americans start to know the names of the real shackers and movers, in our race, then we can become more forceful......Most young African Americans know Micheal Jordan, Labron James, kobe bryant, snoop dog, but have no clue as to some of our great thinkers...The ones who made an impact to the world even with the racism and the struggles....Those are the people I love and respect......

God bless you for your statement!!! I say that all of the time.Especially when i see all those articles about Beyonce' and J Z and their little group of followers. Many young blacks don't have a clue for who the real influences of the black race are.People making millions off them are the ones who get all the recognition.Someone giving crotch shots in a skin tight body suit gets more adulation than someone who is trying to make the world a better place to live.A selfless person who is working for hardly any monetary gains but someone trying to improve the world to benefit mankind. One time i read an article about Diana Ross' sister,a doctor in research, never heard of.But at that time Diana's face was on every magazine. That article was in People magazine. But you'd never read that in any of the mags catering to blacks. They idolize the entertainers and sports figures first. It's truly a crime.

Race is a social construct. There is one race: Human. The sooner we realize this, the better (for the whole world).

I hate it too. Never thought this could happen. Get information on engineering jobs
09:13 PM on 03/18/2012
This is really sad news. I had hoped they were in it for the long haul in spite of different Hollywood pressures on their greatness as entertainers.
02:20 PM on 02/27/2013
Greatness?!! Maybe if they found the cure for cancer or something else significant. At the end of the day they are just entertainers who got lucky and now they are millionaires from working class people spending their hard earned money on them.If you have a need to idolize someone let it be someone who is trying to help mankind, not their bank accounts.
06:22 PM on 02/27/2013
Wow petu. Don't sound so mean. I made this comment awhile back! In reference to the word "greatness", it's about the large following they have at the box office. I'm not idolizing them, but I do like Will as an actor, especially his roll in the movie "7 Pounds" with Rosario Dawson. And I agree with you 100 percent on the need for very wealthy earners/celebrities doing more "to help mankind, not their bank accounts". I read an article in Essence magazine last fall--cover story on Jada, who stated she and Will were not getting a divorce--and she talked passionately about an her LA foundation to address the social concerns of girls. So some positive things are happening with this couple's public-driven money. That's how it goes in the entertainment industry. I'd love to see EMTs, police officers, and educators-- to name a few--make the same or better earnings. But how do we get that done? Be well.

The Smiths had 13 years and two children together. That's good. Some don't get anywhere near this much happiness.
