'Chelsea Lately': RZA Wants To Play Chess Against Chelsea (VIDEO)

The gauntlet has been thrown on "Chelsea Lately" (Weeknights, 11 p.m. EST on E!). When Chelsea Handler found out that RZA considered himself a pretty proficient chess player, she shared with him that she was pretty good as well.

"You're the first rapper I know that plays chess," she said. "I'm going to deduce that as good as you are, you're not going to be better than me."

RZA took this as a challenge, and said that he'd have to come back some day to face off with her, but instead she said she would take him on in an app. It's probably for the best. As much as it would be great to see which one of them came out on top, somehow it's hard to believe that two people playing chess would make for very compelling television.

Maybe if it was the life-size chess with life and death stakes like in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." That was certainly an exciting game. Who wouldn't want to see RZA and Chelsea Handler face off in that arena?
