The Basics
is about one hour from Salt Lake City and 25 minutes from Ogden. Dedicated to family fun, the ski area provides adventures in the tiny town of Eden but is only part of the draw to Wolf Creek. Guests will enjoy panoramic views of the mountain while skiing down well-groomed slopes that are open from November through May. With an average of
of snowfall each year, Wolf Creek is sure to have fresh powder throughout the ski season.
The Mountain
The base elevation at Wolf Mountain is 5,500 feet and the summit elevation is 6,500 feet. The ski area has a 1,000-foot vertical drop included in its 100 acres of skiable area.
offers a variety of runs for beginners, intermediate skiers and the most advanced guests. The longest run at Wolf Creek is 1,600 feet long. In addition to an abundance of natural snow, Wolf Creek also has 60 percent snowmaking capability to keep guests on the slopes supplied with plenty of powder.
Trails And Lifts
There are 16 trails at Wolf Creek -- 20 percent of them are for beginners and 50 percent are for more intermediate skiers and snowboarders; the remaining trails are more difficult. The ski area has four lifts to carry guests to the top of the mountain, including a Magic Carpet for beginners, one triple chair and two double chairs. Wolf Creek offers guests nighttime skiing opportunities and access to the
. The terrain park boasts 20 acres of well-groomed practice areas.

While Wolf Creek Utah does not host annual ski or snowboard races, there are other annual events that draw guests during warmer months. The resort hosts
, an annual summer event that provides live music ranging from the symphony to country. The
, a nonprofit, sponsors events to help support deployed soldiers and their families. Wolf Creek has invited more than 1,500 families since 2006 to enjoy what the mountain has to offer.

are priced from $35 to $37 for adults and from $22 to $24 for children. Morning and night tickets are $20 to $30 for adults and $14 to $20 for children.
