'Real Housewife' Kim Richards Leaves Rehab

'Real Housewife' Kim Richards Leaves Rehab

Things are starting to look up for "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" castmember Kim Richards.

According to Us Weekly, the reality star has checked out of a rehab center where she was treated for substance abuse problems, and is now on the road to recovery.

If this story sounds familiar, it's because reports surfaced last month that Richards left her treatment facility. However, the rumors were put to rest by Richards' rep, who claimed she was still seeking help.

Richards checked into a undisclosed rehab center in early December to deal with personal issues, some of which were made public thanks to incidents shown on the ever-popular "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

"Kim wasn't happy with her life," Richards' ex-husband Monty Brinson told Life & Style Weekly last month. "She wanted to seek help so she could get better for herself, her children and her family."

Richards' sister and fellow "Real Housewife" Kyle Richards recently told The Huffington Post that Kim is doing well these days, and though their relationship has been strained, they are heading toward a better future together.

"We're all really proud of her," Kyle Richards said. "[Having] our relationship being played out on TV is difficult; people dissecting it and thinking they know us is very difficult at times. We've gone through a lot together ... I'm happy to say we're in a much better place right now."
