WALSENBURG, Colo. -- A Colorado judge ruled that allegations from other states can be used in a case against a woman accused in a crime spree that ended with a chase and shootout with police.

The judge said Monday that all events leading to the arrest of Lee Grace Dougherty can be introduced at trial, including crimes she is accused of committing with her brothers in Florida and Georgia.

Dougherty has pleaded not guilty to attempted second-degree murder, assault and other charges related to a high-speed chase and shootout before her capture on Aug. 10.

Her trial is set for Feb. 21.

Her two brothers, Ryan Dougherty and Dylan Stanley-Dougherty, were granted a stay in proceedings until Jan. 30 so federal and Florida prosecutors can decide how to proceed in the case.

The three siblings are accused of shooting at a police officer in Florida and robbing a bank in Georgia.

District Attorney Frank Ruybalid said evidence from the entire manhunt for the siblings should be presented to establish the woman's intent.

By taking part in crimes in Florida and Georgia, Lee Grace Dougherty was an accessory to the crimes in Colorado, Ruybalid said.

The three siblings are accused of robbing a Valdosta, Ga., bank and firing at a police officer in Zephyrhills, near Tampa in central Florida.

The officer was chasing their car when one of the suspects began shooting at his cruiser, disabling it, the FBI said.

In the Colorado chase, shots were fired at officers before the suspects' car rolled and crashed into a guard rail, authorities said.
