Lots of folks are waiting for Google, or Apple, or Verizon or someone to offer a Web video subscription service that would rival cable TV.

None of those guys have announced their plans for that, yet. But Myspace has: It says it will offer an "over the top" service in the first half of this year.

myspace is still around? why you even pay for web tv when you can find pretty much anything free online?

Cuz it's owned by Murdoch and he's been trying to figure out a way for people to pay him for each and every broadcast of Family Guy, no matter how private. If they could charge by the mouseclick, they would.
