'Pawn Stars' Think They May Have Found A Very Valuable Book (VIDEO)

Have The 'Pawn Stars' Misjudged A Book By Its Cover?

Monday night on "Pawn Stars" (Mon., 10 p.m. EST on History) Corey Harrison and Chumlee Russell had a book appraised that they thought could be a first edition of Walden by Henry David Thoreau.

A first edition would be a big deal -- the appraiser tells them one could sell for as much as $25,000. She checks the book out as the guys look on nervously.

The good news? It is a first edition. The bad news? It's an English first edition, which is not as rare and thus not as valuable. The last one she saw at auction had a guide price of $500 to $600 but eventually sold for only $100.

"Pawn Stars" airs Mondays, 10 p.m. EST on History.
