'The Obamas' Book Goes Inside First Marriage: Tweeters React

Jodi Kantor's tell-all on the First Family, "The Obamas," hit bookstores Tuesday after weeks of anticipation and speculation.

Kantor, a seasoned New York Times Washington correspondent, takes an inside look at the Obamas marriage, alleging that Michelle Obama has shaped her husband's character as a president -- and influenced many of his decisions.

Knowing what we do about marriage, we here at HuffPost Weddings wondered whether it's really possible for someone outside of a relationship to truly understand its inner workings. If you look at the divorce rate, a good deal of the time the married couple itself - or at least one of the spouses- doesn't know where their marriage truly stands.

I don't care if the mrs. throws stuff at the mr. or if they sit and have a quiet intimate dinner. This country voted for him and not her. We had problems with Hilary and Bill. Couldn't quite figure out who was president. All I know is Obama has divided this country like no other president. He is using the middle class (who are they) to get re-elected. This president cares nothing about anybody but himself. Sure he he is coming out now with all these "wonderful" policies, but why? It's all about the vote. My gosh who else would pay for all the family/friend vacations or parties or entertainers except the taxpayers.

Wrong party, you do mean the GOP has divided the country. When ever someone points out the facts, it a problem. What he's saying may seem new to you, however, it's not to the people who voted for him. As usual, more GOP talking points.
