Serotonin indeed boosts in our brain especially, but it also boosts when we think good things and happy thoughts. These article clearly say it http://www.neuralpedia.com/neurotransmitters/serotonin/ .

I agree but learning someone to fish takes time, it depends how much you will want to give from your time.

Great article - really strikes a chord and love all the science behind the feel-good factor of giving. I'm definitely addicted to giving back to others. My most recent addiction is hosting travelers with my roommates (a site called Tripping.com). It feels great to help out other people and now I know more about why.

this was an awesome article. like Jesus taught, there is more happiness than there is in receiving. until you have done it from the heart you dont know what you are missing out on

What a beautiful article. I frequently say that unconditional/anonymous giving is addictive; I guess this explains why.

give to make yourself feel good as well as others and not because you can take it off your taxes.
