Anais Gallagher, 11, Follows Rock Star Dad Into Fame With New Modeling Career (PHOTOS)

The newest model on the block also knows how to rock.

Anais Gallagher, the 11-year-old daughter of Oasis singer Noel Gallagher and Meg Matthews, has been signed to Select Model Management, Telegraph reports.

And it didn't take long before the cute tween started hobknobbing with the fashion elite. Gallagher, who turns 12 this month, was just snapped by legendary photographer Mario Testino, and mom Meg couldn't resist tweeting the gorgeous black and white shot (see below).

So who is Anais? The blonde cutie has been in the spotlight since her early days, thanks to her parents, and she's gotten to attend some super cool events (the "Arthur" premiere? A dog fashion show? A Nutcracker gala? Ah, to be a cool rock star kid).

Meg and Noel married in 1997 and had Anais in 2000, but they divorced in 2001 due to rumors of Noel having a dalliance with publicist Sara McDonald.

I just don't understand why they can't get an 18-year-old for shots that are supposed to look like an 18-year-old, and let 11-year-old girls look like 11-year-old girls. Once again I shall quote Edina Monsoon, who said, "They'll be flinging fetuses down the runway next."

Oh, surprise, surprise!.... another "rocker's kid" becoming a model! They must aspire to have their children be groupies, just like their mothers. After all, that's how the so many rockers meet their "Model" wives, isn't it? (not saying Gallagher's wife is or was one, just a general statement)

Well she is only 11! She has plenty of time to decide what she wants to do with her life when she reaches that point in life, at least she will have a head start financial wise with the earnings she will be making as a model. There have been many child celebs that have given up acting/modeling to pursue careers in what you have mentioned and more once they reached college age to never return to that limelight.

When you're a celebrities kid, opportunities are scattered before you. Now of course, its up to her, with what she'll do with those opportunities, and if its anything like what her Father and Uncle did, she'll let it slip away. Besides, her Father will probably be the one to ruin it, (those hot headed Gallagher brothers).

If its for kids clothes I think its ok...But not the pose they have her standing in....

let her be a kid and learn how to work for a good job and not riding on her fathers fame.too much of that going around these days and it's not helping the kids one bit. teaching them to be high maintenance and lazy

Geeze...how about just letting her be a little girl? You only get one chance at a carefree childhood, there's plenty of time for her to model when she's over 18! It's disturbing to see a child grow up before their time - she should be hanging out with friends (biking, skating, going to the mall & movies, etc.) and having slumber parties at this age! Too much too soon, I personally think. Mom has dollar signs in her eyes.............sorry, but I find this very sad........

yes how about just letting her be a little girl? maybe she wants too be a model. any activity.... sports,music,dancing,etc that a child is involved in is really a positive or negative experience based on the parents attitude.
