Miley Cyrus' Futuristic David Koma Dress Wows Us At The People's Choice Awards (PHOTOS)
Miley Cyrus took an unexpectedly chic style turn last night at the People's Choice Awards in a creative frock from a new-to-the-scene designer.
Tucked on the arm of her beau Liam Hemsworth, Miley shone in the David Koma dress, paired with a Marchesa bag and metallic pink Jimmy Choos.
The dress itself features a deep cut neckline (mitigated by a sheer panel overlay), which isn't really anything new; Miley's a perennial fan of the plunge. But what we're loving is the really interesting gemstone panel on the sides. (It looks like something we'd see on "Star Trek"...and we mean that in a totally awesome way.)
David Koma, who's relatively new to the fashion world (his website is still under construction), hails from the country of Georgia and has shown at London Fashion Week for a few seasons. Miley's gown is from his spring/summer 2012 collection, which is packed with white dresses, sheer paneling and more of those colorful stones.
Maybe Miley's turning over a new couture leaf?
