Sarah Palin Slams Michelle Obama On Fox News Over Defense Of Husband's Presidency (VIDEO)

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tore into Michelle Obama on Fox News Wednesday, criticizing the first lady for what she characterized as a recent condescending defense of her husband's presidency.

"Oh Lord. Oh Lord! Are we just numbskulls out here in the heartland of America? Just a bunch of numbskulls who can't read the unemployment numbers and see that 5 trillion dollars in new debt later under her husband, President Obama, five trillion dollars more, and we still have fewer jobs today than we had before he took over," Palin said, responding to a clip of Mrs. Obama claiming that some people are "confused" about the president's real accomplishments. "But, we're numbskulls out here and we just don't understand what these numbers mean, what they represent."

Michelle Obama's comments came earlier this week during an interview with CBS' Gayle King in which the first lady found herself playing defense on a couple issues.

Asked by King to respond to claims in a new book that suggested there was friction between her and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Obama was dismissive, much like the White House had been in an earlier statement.

"I guess it's more interesting to imagine this conflicted situation here and a strong woman and -- you know?" she said. "But that's been an image that people have tried to paint of me since the day Barack announced, that I'm some angry black woman."

In a previous statement, the White House referred to the account as "an overdramatization of old news ... about a relationship between two people whom the author has not spoken to in years."

Palin is desperate for the Obama's to acknowledge her existence, they never do and she can't stand it. You're over Palin, go home and leave politics to those that understand it. Oh and also keep in mind the massive debt you left Wasilla in while you were mayor and how much of a increase in spending the state saw when you pretending to be our governor.

To hear Sarah darling, you would think that Barack Obama single handedly started two wars and crashed the investment banking system. Sarah and others might do well to study the Great Depression and the amounts of money invested across a decade to end the unemployment. As we know, reading isn't Sarah's area of strength. Evidently, neither is considered rhetoric and sensible thought.
