Any idea that has a Lieberman attached to it is worthless. Hagel on the other hand seems like a fair minded sane person.

Chuck Hagel is one of those Republicans that can truly claim the Party left him.

How sad, a "Republican Lite" party isn't being overwhelmed with public support.

Potential ballot access in all 50 states and no dyed-in-the-wool Dems or Reps offering to be the Americans Elect nominee. For those of us interested in selecting a non-partisan President, this is too good to be true. As the two major parties continue to polarize and alienate the electorate, thereby creating a huge voting block seeking independent-minded leadership, the AE model may represent an ideal avenue to shake up the parties, their puppets, and the entrenched elite. Let's turn off the talking heads and create a truly democratic political voice -- join AE, participate in selecting an alternative presidential ticket for the 2012 ballot, and revolutionize the political process.

They considered Joe Lieberman? Seriously? And whatever happened to Alan Keys? He'd probably jump at the chance.
