'Jersey Shore': Pauly Doesn't Want Vinny To Leave

Last week ended with Vinny contemplating leaving the "Jersey Shore" (Thu., 10 p.m. EST on MTV). This week he went through with it after deciding that it was what he needed to do. "I'm not happy," he told his best friend in the house, Pauly D. "I'm doing what's best for myself."

Pauly struggled to understand Vinny's decision, ultimately admitting that he couldn't get inside Vinny's head to figure it out. But mostly, he was struggling with losing his friend. "I just want to grab onto my dude and be like, 'Don't go. Don't go. Don't leave me,'" Pauly said later.

There were moments of levity as Vinny was packing between the two friends. Vinny found it amusing that Pauly asked if he would write. "Will I write?" he laughed. "Can we sext?"

But it wasn't all depressing stuff. The gang went back to Karma for the first time, with Pauly D getting a costly hook-up out of the trip -- the girl did bring back the necklace the next morning -- and Snooki did what Snooki does best; which means getting trashed out of her mind. But will it be the same without Vinny?

Keep watching "Jersey Shore" Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on MTV to find out.
